September Days

I received the following post from a Sisterchick and wanted to make sure all of you had this information.

"I am so sorry to hear that the Sisterchicks were not able to tour The Kilns, former home of CS Lewis, on their latest adventure. As former warden of the Kilns, I personally have given tours to as many as 100 people in a day. I want any readers who want to follow in the Sister's footsteps to know that The Kilns is open for tours on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and they can call in advance at 01865.741.865 or contact the warden at thekilns@cslewis.org. to schedule a tour."

Now I want to go back to Oxford just so we can take a tour of The Kilns! We weren't in Oxford on one of the days when the home was open so alas, we missed that joy. If any of you have been on a tour of The Kilns, we'd love to hear from you!

And to answer another question about the next Sisterchicks book, yes, at last I can reveal the title and the location!

Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes!

The setting is The Netherlands where windmills and tulips and of course, Dutch Chocolate delight the adventuresome duo of Noelle and Summer. These two Sisterchicks have been penpals since elementary school but they have never met face to face. At last the time has come for these two Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes!

Release date for Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes! is currently scheduled for Spring, 2009. I'll keep you posted on the final date. Or go to my website, www.robingunn.com and sign up to receive the Robin's Nest Newsletter for updates on release dates and drawings for free books.

Happy end of summer days to all of you,
Robin
