Ahhhh, technology!The blessings and the curses of computers. Mine crashed big time three weeks ago and I had to buy a new one. I was sad to see the old one go and now I'm in the midst of trying to gather up all my fragmented files and get them organized in the new computer. Ahhhh, technology! Love it and hate it. You, too? We received a notice from Wendy, our Sisterchicks Cruise travel agent that time to register for the October sail to Mexico is closing in on us! If any of you have been debating about whether or not to sign up, you have a month to do so. And I do so hope you do so. (Ha! Is that even a sentence? My brain is beginning to fragment like all my computer files!)I am very excited about our cruise and have been trying not to get too giddy because its five months away. What got my giddies going was Paula, our sailing troubador. She came by last week. We sat in the back yard in the sunshine and talked about the cruise and about Paula's recent trip to India and about what a gift it is to be able to connect with women around the world in such amazing ways.We've started praying for all you Sisterchicks who are coming on the cruise as well as for those who are still trying to decide. We can't wait to be with all of you!I have some happy, happy book news! Sisterchicks in Gondolas! was nominated for a Christy - Excellence in Fiction Award. It's one of three finalists.
