HAPPY SPRING!Outisde the window of my little nest is a row of bright, yellow daffodils. As I type this the daffies are waving a cheery hello to all you Sisterchicks everywhere!So much new and happy things happening around here. First I'll tell you the personal happiness then the professional. I posted last entry that we did some major painting aound here. Two of my Sisterchicks, Meg and Carrie, came over and gave some fabulous decorating advice since that's definitely not my gifting. Meg even did some catalog looking for a new bedspread for us. Well, it took me several weeks to get out the door and go shopping but I hit a great sale two days ago and got the perfect bedspread for 75% off the price of the one in the catalog!!! Don't you just love a bargain! I was carrying the bags to the car and got all choked up. All I could think was that our Heavenly Father cares for us even in the smallest details, like the right color and price for a new bedspread. He is SO good to us!Now the happy publishing news! Multnomah is publishing a Sisterchick devotional book that I'm working on right now with my prayer pal, Cindy. It's called "Take Flight!" and should be available this fall. We wanted to have an interactive sort of product that would take women deeper into the Word as well as closer in their relationship to the Lord and to each other. We hope this "nouveau devo" hits the spot. Please pray for us as we pull all the pieces together this next week. Oh, and you're going to love the cover!
