MERRY, MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

How are the festivities going in your little nest? We've had a full house with both of our grown kids home as well as all the usual comings and goings. It's been wonderful.

At the same time, I've been on such an emotional roller coaster! Crazy how that happens, isn't it? This afternoon the house is empty for a few hours and I'm catching my breath. Yes, there are more gifts to wrap, more food to prepare and more laundry to wash.

But I was just thinking about how God's greatest gift to us was wrapped in swaddling cloth. Somehow that thought calmed the frenzy in me. The unwrapped gifts in the closet can wait. I have time to stop and sit in my snuggle chair by the window and read and think and pray.

So before I go, I wanted to stop and check in and wish all of you a merry, merry Christmas. This afternoon in this moment of quiet I am so aware that God really is with us. "Emmanuel". He is with us. And oh, how we need Him!

Sending all of you much joy from a grateful heart.

Robin
