Calling all Praying Sisterchicks!
Would you wonderful prayer warriors cover me in prayer for the next month? God has opened some huge doors and I'm over-the-moon excited about what's ahead but I definitely need prayer!
On November 8th I'm flying to Brazil to speak at an International publishing conference (www.littworld.org). One of the keynote messages I'll be giving is on how God uses fiction to draw readers closer to His heart as well as into His kingdom. A young woman from Brazil named Ana Carolina will be shaing in the presentation with me because as a teen she read the Christy Miller books and God used those stories in a very special way in her life. She was a large part of the reason why the books were then translated into Portuguese. By the time the publisher in Brazil had translated all the Christy and all the Sierra books into Portuguese they were ready to translate Todd and Christy, the College Years. Ana Carolina was in her twenties at the time and she worked on the translation! Ana Carolina and I have emailed each other for years but now we'll get to finally meet! I can't wait!
That adventure alone is very exciting but there's more. The Brazilian publisher that is distributing all these teen books invited me to speak at a number of youth events while I'm in Brazil. The schedule is listed on their website (www.editorabetania.com.br)
Please pray for safe travels and pray that God's Spirit will be free to move at each of these events and that I will say the things He wants these young hearts to hear.
I'll write an update about the trip to Brazil after I return home at the end of November.
Thanks for praying!!!!! Robin (who is feeling very humble-hearted about all this)

A little update on "Take Flight!"
My Sisterchick and co-author of "Take Flight", Cindy and I had a booksigning Saturday that was a bit of a challenge. The books were delayed at the printer so we had a booksigning with no books!
The latest update is that the new Sisterchick devotion book should be shipping by the first of November. Yay!
We're both really excited about this book because it can be used individually as a devotional companion along with your Bible when you're spending some sweet time with the Lord or it can be used by a small group of women who want to go deeper with the topics in each section and use the questions provided to open up some honest dialog.
We hope many of you fellow Sisterchicks find lots of encouragement in this new book. We've been praying that it will bring you heart-hope and healing and most importantly draw you closer to God's heart.
Grace on ya', Robin
