Off to Nashville!
Just checking in before I check out. I'm leaving for a week in Nashville at Advance. It's a trade show for booksellers. I'll be meeting with lots fo bookstore buyers and signing copies of the new Christy Miller Collection Volume 1. If by any chance you work for a bookstore and you're going to Advance, please come by the Multnomah booth and say hello! Or "hey" or whatever they say in Nashville these days.
Last week I received an email from a Sisterchick in the Midwest. She said she read Christy Miller books when she was a teen and now she's in her twenties, working as a manager at a bookstore. She said as soon as the new Christy Miller Vol.1 arrived in the store she got a copy and read it all over again. She said the stories encouraged her just as much now as they did then. So cool! Definitely a God-thing.

Can I just say. . .
I LOVE checking in on all of you via the photo gallery! What fun pictures you have all sent in! Imagine! In our little scrapbook we have pictures of Sisterchicks from all over the world!
I loved the new photos of the Ooh La La birthday party with the yummy chocolate cake. And how fun to see Oonicorn in Sydney and Carina in Brazil!
I know this is a very Christy Miller thing to say, but I hold all of you in my heart! I do. I sit and look at your faces and pray for you and smile a lot.

Great ideas for the title of the London book, Sisterchicks! Thanks!!!
Wow! Keep 'em coming! We should have run a contest or something. We'll see what the publishing committee decides since they have the final say on title, cover, etc. All your ideas are keeping the creative juices going and I really appreciate your cleverness!
My cold is all better now. Hope all of you are ringing in the new year with good health and a tender heart.

Happy New Year, Sisterchicks!
I have a question for all you creative women.
Now that Sisterchicks in Gondolas! is finally finished and off to the editors and typesetters and printers, it's time to turn my imagination toward the next story. Sisterchicks #7 will take place in London. I need to suggest a creative title to my wonderful publisher and nothing snappy is coming to me! (The pesky cold I'm getting over might have something to do with the sensation of walking around with bubbles on my brain.)
Any clever ideas?
