Kritter, when in December? Mine's the 17th. I am also in GA, I believe about 3 hours or so south of you. I can walk to Alabama from my house. I want to say kudos to you for the weight loss. I need to get serious about that as well as I am morbidly obese. You'll have to share your secret for motivation. Feel free to email me at lflournoy@alltel.net and clue me in! I have not succeeded in my previous attempts. God bless! Lisa

December 22.
I am only an hour from Savannah. Are you sure you are 3 hours from me? Alabama is at least 4 hours from me if not further.
As far as the weight loss, I just decided I wanted to live. I DECIDED (changed my mind). I was dying the route I was going, and I told God that I wanted to choose life. He lead me to Weight Watchers (which gives me the support and the cheerleaders). I began to do what I call a Power Walk which consists of walking as far as I can in a certain amount of time and praying. I started out with only 30 minutes. Now I walk an hour. I pray and walk, and that has made a lot of difference.
I, too, tried to lose weight many times and failed. I finally asked the Lord why I always failed because I didn't want to make the same mistakes. This is my answer: You fail because you give up. If you persevere, you are guaranteed victory! So now when I blow it, I get up, dust myself off, and start again. It's not the falling down that keeps us from success; it's the staying down. You have to get up and get moving. Galations 6:9--And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
